Could someone explain to me the reasoning behind James O'keefe's supposed sting of ACORN?

He shows up at community organizing offices acting like a moron pretending to be a pimp - not like an actual pimp who wouldn't have any reason to go there, and then attempts to either catch them not calling the police, or something.

What exactly makes you think to do that? Is the theory that all poor people (and you need to read "poor" as "black" or some other racial epithet to match the thinking of these bigots) - that all poor people are criminals and that everyone who serves poor people are criminals?

I never understood what narrative was so popular here. You pretty much have to be an extreme bigot to even be willing to watch those videos given the assumptions behind them, let alone get excited by them.

So it turns out that Acorn is considered eternal by American bigots. This is going to end up like the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, rwnjs will still be blaming things on Acorn 100 years from now.

re: #2 stabby

Of course, the real sick joke is that the O'Keefe smear job was basically successful in getting ACORN defunded. A real travesty.

To RWNJs, helping minorities and/or the poor is simply a crime.

Well cheer up, Democrats. As the survey found, a bunch of deranged, crazy RW nutjobs (they must be that, because they were Republicans) are switching over to your side. Everybody loves being a winner.

Better yet, there's more news about the knuckle-dragging idiots of Texas and how bad their schools are. Texas schools in the news.

Or maybe that's not the point of the article. //

This is the party you voted for.
Own it.

49% of GOP voters nationally say they think that ACORN stole the election for President Obama. We found that 52% of Republicans thought that ACORN stole the 2008 election for Obama, so this is a modest decline, but perhaps smaller than might have been expected given that ACORN doesn’t exist anymore.

Such patriotism!

Some GOP voters are so unhappy with the outcome that they no longer care to be a part of the United States. 25% of Republicans say they would like their state to secede from the union compared to 56% who want to stay and 19% who aren’t sure.

In RWNJ mythology, ACORN is more of an abstract symbol of how the "underclass" is out to pervert democracy by encouraging people to vote for more free government stuff to be paid for by taxes on rich people.

We don't need cheering up...our party didn't lose the election.

These people aren't deranged because they're Republicans, they're deranged because they think a non-existent organization stole the election. It's a fantasy, pure and simple.

As for TX schools, are you honestly trying to argue that TX schools don't have serious problems because ONE student there won a big prize? If so, you've broken every rule of logic in one short post. Congrats on that "achievement."
